The Latino Health Institute Inc. (dba Latin American Health Institute) is a community-based professional organization that promotes the health of the community, its institutions, families and individuals through effective interventions that are culturally competent and technologically appropriate. LHI’s programmatic divisions are organized according to whether their services are offered primarily to community institutions (including public health providers) or families and individuals. LHI serves in excess of 33,000 families and individuals every year, and substantial numbers of institutions.
