- Other: Midwest independent film projects, both short-form and feature-length.
Services we offer projects:
- Fundraising for independent films can be challenging: Foundation or government grants usually are available only to 501(c)(3) nonprofits, and many individual donors would like to take a a tax-deduction for larger donations. IFP Chicago’s fiscal sponsorship program allows members to apply to these restricted funding resources while retaining ownership of their projects. Projects are thoroughly vetted for feasibility, and an administrative fee applies. Our fiscal sponsorship program includes crowdfunding campaigns for accepted projects.
Organization description:
IFP/Chicago is a nonprofit organization committed to the idea that independent film is an important art form and a powerful voice in our society. We provide resources, information and avenues of communication for independent filmmakers, industry professionals and independent film enthusiasts. We encourage quality and diversity in independent production and assist filmmakers at all levels of experience in realizing their unique vision.
