Fiscal sponsorship fee:
An administrative charge of 7% of donations is deducted by Fresh Takes to help share sponsorship costs amongst all the projects and to defray the direct costs of administering project sponsorship. The fee for administering governmental grants and contracts is 10%. It is a higher fee for those funding sources because significantly greater administration and reporting is required. Beyond these charges, there are no other annual, maintenance or other special fees charged.

Fresh Takes empowers youth and adults from diverse San Mateo County communities to express themselves through Media Arts Production with an emphasis on self awareness, media literacy, civic engagement, community involvement, social change, and artistic excellence. Our core-values include: Youth engage in their communities while having their voices heard on issues of concern & topics they are passionate about. Youth connect with their sense of purpose while expanding their creativity & developing their leadership skills. A diverse and inter-generational group of independent media makers create media delivering messages that matter to them & their communities.
